Abstract

ABSTRAK Penciptaan Seni Teater dengan judul “Rumah Dalam Diri” bertitik tolak pada fenomena teror yang dialami dalam kehidupan masyarakat saat ini. Teror tidak hanya dipahami secara fisik, namun teror juga mengacu pada entitas kekuasaan simbolik (Pierre Bourdieu), telah menghegemoni cara berfikir dan prilaku manusia dalam kehidupan. Pintu-pintu dalam sebuah rumah dipahami sebagai penanda masuk dan keluar tidak lagi berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya. Teror tiap detik hadir dalam kehidupan, menembus dinding-dinding, atap di dalam rumah maupun di luar rumah. Pertumbuhan kapitalisme Asia, Eropa, Barat dan Timur Tengah melalui kekuatan ekonomi, teknologi, informasi, secara sadar telah mencipta teror dalam peradaban manusia di era globalisasi saat ini. Ide atau gagasan di atas diwujudkan dalam penciptaan teater kontemporer yang berbasis pada kekuatan tubuh aktor yang berkorelasi dengan elemen artistik dan musik di dalam mewujudkan peristiwa. Material artitstik utama di dalam mewujudkan karya selain ekspresi tubuh aktor adalah setting-properti berbentuk dinding, pintu, tangga kayu, kaleng kerupuk dan kursi. Masing-masing elemen artistik ini dieksplorasi dan dielaborasi menjadi karya teater yang inovatif dan spektakuler. Mewujudkan karya ini menggunakan metode Alam Takambang Jadi Guru pada tataran konseptual dan metode Paco-Paco pada tataran praktikal. Metode Paco-Paco dalam mencipta teater “Rumah Dalam Diri” adalah usaha di dalam merekonstruksi serpihan kehidupan menjadi satu kesatuan yang utuh (holistik), eksotik, estetis dan artistik. Kata kunci: teater, “Rumah Dalam Diri”, teror, kekuatan tubuh, Alam Takambang Jadi Guru dan Paco-Paco ABSTRACT Creation Theatre under the title "Home In Yourself" starts on the phenomenon of terror experienced in public life today. Terror is not only understood physically, but also refers to the terror entity symbolic power (Pierre Bourdieu), has been hegemonic ways of thinking and human behavior in life. The doors in a house conceived as a marker of entry and exit is no longer functioning properly. Terror is now present in every second of life, through the walls, the roof inside the home and outside the home. The growth of capitalism in Asia, Europe, the West and the Middle East through economic strength, technology, information, consciously has created terror in human civilization in this era of globalization. The above idea is embodied in the creation of contemporary theater based on the strength of the actor's body that correlate with artistic and musical elements in realizing the event. Main artistic material in delivering the work by expression of the actor's body is also setting-shaped property walls, doors, wooden stairs, canned crackers and chairs. Each element of this artistics explored and elaborated into an innovative and spectacular theater work. In creating this work, the director used the method of AlamTakambangJadi Guru at the conceptual level and the method of PacoPaco as in practical level. Paco-Paco method in creating a theater "RumahDalamDiri" is an attempt at reconstructing bits of life into a coherent whole (holistic), exotic, aesthetic and artistic.
