The continuity of this art form is closely linked to the regeneration of its artists, which relies on intergenerational knowledge transmission. This study aims to analyze the patterns of knowledge transmission employed by traditional artists in sustaining and regenerating Kethek Ogleng in Wonogiri Regency. The research adopts a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with artists, trainers, and younger practitioners, as well as documentation. The findings reveal that knowledge transmission predominantly occurs through informal mechanisms, including direct learning, role modeling, and repetitive practice within family settings and art studios. In addition, the transmission process is shaped by community involvement, local cultural values, and support from the surrounding social environment. This study concludes that traditional, community-based knowledge transmission plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and regeneration of Kethek Ogleng in Wonogiri Regency.
