Sinden performers consider numerous considerations when executing pematut sindhènan, despite the existence of established schemes governing each structure. However, in pragmatic reality, not all cases in the gending adhere to the predetermined conventions. Further interpretation is required to truly embody a gending. This study will uncover the underlying factors influencing a pesindhèn in garap a gending. The method employed is descriptive analysis, grounded in empirical knowledge and Rahayu Supanggah's creative approach. Empirical knowledge will aid in analyzing the variations and interpretations of sindhènan within each structure, while the creative approach will serve as a tool to dissect the musical context within the intended gending structure. Qualitative descriptive data analysis will be conducted by ensuring data validity through data triangulation. Accurate data collection through literature review, interviews, and observations is expected to delve into the concept of pematut sindhènan in Surakarta-style.
