Abstract
The duty and responsibility of a player, besides interpreting the script or story, is to build the characterization of the role to be played, namely to humanize the character of the role within the player, so that a new identity is born in the player, which can be recognized by the audience. so it must have foresight and sensitivity in interpretation and knowledge of everything related to the character of the role to be played. Analysis of the script to understand the role of the character that will be played by the actor by creating role characteristics both position and function. This analysis is carried out by identifying, studying and describing the functions and relationships between intrinsic elements, so as to have an overview of the motivations of the pronunciation and actions of the role characters being portrayed The ability of an actor to portray a role character can be measured through the performance of a monologue, because a monologue is one of the peaks of personal (individual) acting ability which is used as a starting point for the power of collective acting or ensemble acting. The meaning of the monologue at that time was finally agreed upon as a form of single play or individual role art (which in the singularity of the actors), conflicts in the play must be able to be exposed as a whole and intact. Then the monologue is a series of behavior as a psychological implication of the role character in the play. The psychology of the characters ultimately becomes the main dimension that needs to be analyzed in order to identify the role's characterization of the problems they face, the development of the conflict and the events that surround them. Firdaus's figure in the script of the monologue Perempuan Di Titik Nol by Iswadi Pratama is a problematic figure who is dealing with deteriorating social conditions. Firdaus figures are motivated by families who hold a strict patriarchal culture system. The trauma of sexual abuse experienced by Firdaus as a child, forced to marry an old man, domestic violence, prostitution, circumcision and oppression as a woman provides a tragic picture of Paradise's life. It is the clashes of psychology and traumatic events that make the figure of Paradise more psychologically emphasized. Descriptive analytic method is used to explore the depth of inner conflict or psychiatric disorders experienced by Paradise, by describing all the elements associated with psychoanalysis, which examines the figure with a psychological perspective through the personality structure of Sigmund Freud.
