Abstract

Community service activities are held regularly agenda universities throughout Indonesia as one of the elements of Tri Dharma University. This time the author had the opportunity to perform these activities within three months of the student trainees Vocational High School 8 Surakarta. The material consisted of dance taught Gabor and Panji Semirang both are types of Balinese dance is often accompanied kekebyaran or kebyar gong music. The first dance is a dance group called 4,6,8 daughter dance as a dance or a welcome reception for the guests. While dance usually danced Panji Semirang single but danced in the training group with the intention to cause novelty, especially in the position of dancer / goal in each of its parts. Both dances are very popular in Balinese society, proved up to now widely used for various purposes. Due to the high interest of the trainees so that they can understand and demonstrate both dance correctly.
