Abstract
The learning dance activities is a translation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, the third item on the sociaty Services duty and obligation of every lecture. Institut Seni Indonesian (ISI) Surakarta, in this case the Department of Dance faculty felt called to devote themselves to the sociaty. The program is expected to be done on an ongoing basis, as a means to increase the presence of the traditional arts. In addition it is also a strategic tool for professors to publish Institut Seni Indonesian (ISI) Surakarta. Finally from these activities to affect more significant input from both quality and quantity. This activity more focused on teaching creative tradition dance in Tourism Vocational High School, known as Vocational School District School I Boyolali Selo. Results from dance training, students can dance demonstrate. and dance performat. The goal of this activity is the sociaty services Vocational High School student Tourism or SMK I Boyolali Selo especially in extra-curricular activities of dance. Learning methods are used in the learning process at Vocational High School I include: methods of lecture, demonstration, and Drill. The results of the teaching dance is a traditional dance repertoire Solah creations that dance complete with makeup and custome.
